🍸 Time for a brand new Bubblypoptail in Marbs –> A Strawtini with Passion! A delicious alcohol-free version…
Today at the supermarket I saw a 1kg wooden crate of strawberries for sale for the first time this year, yay!!! As I lóve strawberries 🍓 I also saw a smooth, green fruit that I had no idea what it was and added a couple of those to my cart too. When I cut it open at home I saw it was a type of passionfruit… Googled it and found out that it is a ‘Golden Passionfruit´.
So I decided to make a strawberry/passionfruit martini, which I am calling… The Strawtini with Passion 😜
To make two drinks you will need:
- 100ml of Lyre’s White Cane Spirit (buy HERE)
- 100ml of Nine Elms No.18 (buy HERE)
- 1 passionfruit
- 6 large strawberries
- 1 lime
- 2 tablespoons of brown or cane sugar
- Handful of mint
Recipe:
- Muddle the strawberries, the flesh from the passionfruit, the juice of the lime, the brown sugar and mint in a shaker for a good few minutes
- Add ice, the Lyre´s, the Nine Elms and shake, shake, shake
- Strain into a martini glass and njoy!
The result is a yummy, fruity drink with a layered flavour of the Lyre´s.
