Fruity Passion for two

BRAND NEW Alcohol-free Cocktail: Fruity Passion

Time for a brand new Bubblypoptail in Marbs!

This week I picked up a 2-pack of a hard-looking orange fruit which turned out to be a Yellow Passion Fruit. I kind of thought I had used all the passion fruits by now, but guess not. I also bought a packet of golden berries which I find quite tasty plus they look nice as a garnish😊

This passion fruit was sweet but at the same time quite acidic so I thought it might work nicely with my bottle of Bax Botanics Verbena (which has a mixed flavour of citrus and floral notes, this is one of my favourite non-alcoholic spirits) and Nine Elms No.18 (which is more fruity & spicy plus has a bit of a bitter in it as well – It’s really nice!). Here we go…

Ingredients

Ingredients for two glasses:

75ml Bax Botanics Verbena
75ml Nine Elms No.18
1 green passion fruit
6 golden berries
1 lime
A teaspoon of brown sugar

Recipe

Simply follow these 5 steps and your delicious non-alcoholic cocktail is ready!

  1. Cut the yellow passion fruit in half and scoop out the fruit into a shaker
  2. Cut the golden berries in half and add them to the shaker with the sugar and lime juice
  3. Muddle for a few minutes and make sure that all the juice is extracted from the fruit
  4. Fill the shaker with ice and add the Bax and the Nine Elms
  5. Shake, shake, shake and strain into your favourite glass – Garnish with a berry. If you like a more tart flavour, discard the brown sugar and add a touch more lime juice

I served this one straight up, but it was also yum over ice. Njoy!

You can buy the Bax Botanics Verbena HERE for £18.99 (500ml) & the Nine Elms No.18 HERE for £15.65 (750ml). Both of these drinks are lovely to make all kinds of cocktails with!

Let me know if you have any questions and/or suggestions… 😉
