Welcome to Sobertopia®!

Sobertopia – Your platform for all things alcohol-free. Here you find resources for anything you need to start or enjoy an alcohol-free lifestyle. I stopped drinking in 2021, and haven’t looked back since. I’m now 100% loving my life without alcohol, and want to share this with you. A promise from me to you: To stop drinking might be tough at the beginning, but keep going, because it’s SO WORTH IT! A life without alcohol is beautiful; it’s a life in high tech color, filled with emotions you didn’t know you had, and you’ll find a freedom you didn’t know existed…

Founder Sobertopia®

Isabel van Zuilen (Izzy) is an expat from Amsterdam, living in San Francisco, California, with her lovely husband, awesome daughter, two cats and a brand new puppy.

She started her sober journey in May 2019, when she dived into the world of alcohol-free drinks. Trying every non-alcoholic bubbly there was, and flying around the world to attend fun alcohol-free events! In 2021 Izzy started organising alcohol-free retreats for women that don’t need alcohol to have fun, and since February 2024 she’s organizing local walks and cold dips in San Francisco.

For any enquiries, you can connect with her on Instagram, or on her blog right here!
