This week a big dream of mine became reality… I set foot in a shop that sells nothing but amazing, non-alcoholic beverages🤩 The alcohol-free bottle shop is called Nix & Nix and OMG… I literally arrived in alcohol-free heaven!
Shelves and shelves (and some more shelves) full of delicious non-alcoholic beverages, from floor to ceiling… You will find everything here that you can think of (and more!): alcohol-free gins, wines (red, white and rosés), rums, ready-to-drink non-alcoholic cocktails (in cans), sparkling wines, even alcohol-free tequila!
Booze-free Obsessed
Like some of you might know, ever since I stopped drinking (4th May 2019) I’ve been obsessed with buying and trying EVERYTHING non-alcoholic! So when in November last year Spirited Away opened in New York (the first alcohol-free bottle shop in the US) I SOOO wanted to hop on a flight to NY and visit ✈️ But I couldn’t, due to bloody C19. Anyway, I now made it to the first one in Europe and it was FANTASTIC!! The owners are super friendly (you will find one of them on a pic below) and let me try a lot of non-alcoholic drinks that I never tasted before. Including ALT – A delicious, sparkling, organic Chardonnay! They were also very cooperative and patient with me and my endless photographing & video-ing literally EVERYTHING in the shop🤣 See here some pics to get an impression:
Nix & Nix only stock high-quality brands, I really love the products they selected. And it seems to do really well too. A lot of customers came in while I was there, to try and buy drinks. Plus most of them were asking questions and showed a real interest in non-alcoholic drinks. So there’s definitely hope for the future peeps!
