Time for a new bubblypoptail (non-alcoholic cocktail)!
The Pentire Punch
I´m naming todays creation a Pentire Punch…🍍 I used a new (for me) non-alcoholic spirit here —> Pentire. Pentire is a botanical drink made by distilling unique plants native to the Cornish coastline. It features botanicals such as rock samphire, sage, sea rosemary, citrus, and Cornish sea salt. Which “capture the aromas and flavours of the coast” – Their words 😉
First I tried it neat. It has a bit of spice 🌶 but is fresh at the same time and it feels mellow on the tongue. I have tasted many non-alcoholic spirits before and this one has a very original flavour, I like it!
How to make the Pentire Punch? —> I used ingredients that I already had at home which included some fresh ginger, fresh pineapple and Clementines.
Recipe
RECIPE: 1️⃣ I started by juicing 2 thick slices of pineapple, a piece of ginger and 2 clementines 2️⃣ Then I put lots of ice in a shaker, added the freshly juiced mixture, a squeeze of agave syrup & 75ml of Pentire 3️⃣ Pop on the lid, give it a good shake and pour it into a martini glass – Add a slice of ginger to garnish and… all done, time to sit down, relax and njoy this fresh, non-alcoholic cocktail😄
The verdict
The verdict: Só good (if I may say so myself – sometimes a new concoction just works out I guess…)!! Fruity but not too sweet and it has a distinguished layering of flavours. A deep flavour of the Pentire with a boost of pineapple and a hint of ginger which gives it a fiery aftertaste – Yum!
You can buy Pentire here for €14,30 (20ml) or €29,15 (70ml) – In case you want to try it, which I totally recommend!
I hope you liked todays´ bubblypoptail and if you´re going to make this one at home please let me know what you think in the comments below. Also: don´t forget to check back here soon for more new creations…
