A brand new non-alcoholic bubblypoptail (non-alcoholic cocktail): Orange Bitter…!
Yesterday I received my latest drinks order. It contained a bottle of Italian Orange from lyres.com. Italian Orange is an alcohol-free Campari-like drink. Perfect to make summery cocktails with! Below you can find more info on this company and their products. Sooo, I thought it would be nice to make one of their recipes tonight! It´s a super simple drink to make yet delicious and complex to drink. The only 2 ingredients you need for this cocktail are a good tonic & Italian Orange…
You simply pour 60 ml Lyre’s Italian Orange together with 120 ml of a premium Tonic in a big(ish) glass of your choice. Add some ice and a slice of orange to garnish. Stir… & njoy!
There you have it, “a citrusy, refreshing revelation” – Their own words😉 And I have to agree, it’s fresh and bitter and tastes like blood oranges with a kick. I like it! A lot!
Check my bubblypoptail page here for more ideas for alcohol-free drinks plus where to find them.
LYRE´S
Now as said a little bit more on Lyre´s. Lyre´s is an Australian company that has an exquisite range of lovingly crafted non-alcoholic spirits. Almost every classic alcoholic product you can imagine is mimicked and represented in their range: Dry London Spirit (Gin), American Malt (Bourbon Malt), Aperitif Rosso (Red Vermouth), Coffee Originale (Coffee Liquor), Spiced Cane Spirit (Spiced Rum), White Cane Spirit (White Rum), Amaretti (Amaretto Liquor), Aperitif Dry (Dry Vermouth), Dark Cane Spirit (Dark Rum) & Orange Sec (Triple Sec).
In addition to the 10 products above, they offer 3 more. These are, at the moment, only available in certain countries: Absinthe (Absinthe), Italian Orange (Campari) & Italian Spritz (Aperol). This complete range of 13 different products means that you can now make ANY OF YOUR FAVOURITE COCKTAILS without the headache in the morning!!
Fun fact: The name Lyre´s is based on Lyrebirds – Lyrebirds are most well-known for their impressive ability to mimic sounds. Mimic being the keyword here 😉
