I have just read the editorial in November’s Marie Claire UK: It says that this will be the LAST EVER PRINTED ISSUE ? So I immediately started Googling and it’s true… ?? They have now stopped with the printed version of the Marie Claire UK!
There´s nothing I love more than drinking a delicious home made Cáfe Latte on a Sunday morning while reading a real, tangible, printed magazine. And now they’re telling me these are becoming extinct?!? Whyyy, let’s not digitalise éverything in life, so not cool‼️
So I thought hard and deep about this and have an idea… Printed magazines are getting less popular ánd we need to be cautious with the forests we have left in the world – I get that! So how about only offering subscription issues of the magazines…! Instead of getting rid of them completely! I personally could live with having them no longer in the shops, which would be sucky but understandable. At least they would still be available! So the publishers only print as many magazines as there are actual subscribers to it?
Any publisher is more than welcome to use my idea but please do mention my little blog when you announce it to the big public. I can use some followers ?
