Time for a brand new Bubblypoptail in Marbs! (aka a non-alcoholic cocktail)
Today a variation of the Lyre´s Martini cocktail… The Virgin Dry Martini! To make it, you need the Dry London Spirit & the Apéritif Dry – both of these are alcohol-free spirits from Lyre´s. In case you have not heard of Lyre´s before: Lyre´s is an Australian company that has a large range of non-alcoholic spirits that represent almost every classic alcoholic product you can imagine! In this case, the Dry London Spirit is inspired by Gin and the Apéritif Dry by a dry Vermouth. You can buy these on several websites, I bought mine HERE in Spain for €26,95 (each). If you are located elsewhere in the world, check their website. They sell their fantastic products WORLDWIDE!
Ok, so how do you make this sophisticated looking drink?
Let´s start with the ingredients… To make this gorgeous drink, you will need:
- 60mL Lyre’s Dry London Spirit
- 15mL Lyre’s Apéritif Dry (chilled)
- One lemon
- Some fun items to stick on a little skewer for garnish
Now the recipe!
VIRGIN DRY MARTINI
- Pour 60ml of Lyre’s Dry London Spirit and 15ml of Lyre’s Apéritif Dry (chilled) into a shaker with ice
- Add a squeeze of fresh lemon
- Stir it briefly so it gets nice and chilled
- Strain it into a Martini glass
- Fancy it up with a garnish, like the one in my picture (or a simple olive on a stick)
- And… Done!
Result: A nice and fresh non-alcoholic cocktail with a real Martini-like flavour and look but without any headaches in the morning – Score if you ask me🙌🏻
