Time for a brand new Bubblypoptail in Marbs! (Aka a non-alcoholic cocktail)
This week we (or more my husband, as he’s doing the cooking and thus likes to pick and buy most ingredients) tried out a new thing: we ordered all our fruit & vegetables for the week from this locally based, family-run online shop: Redpomelo. It’s always a gamble what you get, using a new place for the first time but wow, what a pleasure this was😄 We received beautiful products (many organic) including some excellent looking Blood Oranges! So the first thing that sprang to my mind was this delicious looking alcohol-free Blood Orange Spritz that I saw a little while ago from Bax Botanics !!
So today I decided to make a Bloody Bax…🌿
RECIPE ALCOHOL-FREE SPRITZ
This alcohol-free spritz is very easy to make… Simply put all the following ingredients, in this particular order, in a large wine glass:
50ml Bax Botanics Sea Buckthorn
50ml Freshly squeezed Blood Orange juice
200ml Premium Tonic (I used Seventeen 1724 Tonic Water from Seventeen Mixers but obvs use whatever tickles your fancy)
Then garnish with a slice of blood orange 🍊 on the edge of the glass, add ice cubes and… Njoy!!
The result is a gorgeously coloured summery drink that is super fresh, fabulously bitter & has hints of sweetness from the fruit. Totally recommend sipping this at the pool this summer🌴
