I’m very excited… I´m on a city trip at the moment in my home town – Amsterdam! Today I checked out a local wine shop here and the owner of the shop recommended this particular wine – firmly. Together with his pregnant wife he has tasted all of the non-alcoholic (sparkling) wines that he offers in his shop and this was a clear winner he said: Faber Sparkling Rosé Alcohol Free – again from Germany. So let’s see…
Verdict
At opening —> The wine smells like the real deal, like a rosé wine
At tasting —> The taste isn’t overwhelming but really nice. Its quite dry, fruity but not too fruity and indeed even tastes like a rosé wine…
I can honestly say that this is the best non-alcoholic SPARKLING ROSÉ WINE I have tasted so far…! I’m sooo happy as I have bought & tried so many not great options and I started to become unconvinced of the whole concept of alcohol free (sparkling) wines. But this is one for tomorrow at midnight – Yay!!
