🍸Time for a new bubblypoptail (non-alcoholic cocktail)…!🍸 A little while ago I won a bottle of Xachoh Blend no.5 in a contest from an Instagram account: @alcohol_free_magazine – Thanks again Stephen!! 😄 And today I thought let´s make a nice bubblypoptail (non-alcoholic cocktail) with it!
First of all, what is Xachoh? Xachoh Blend Number 5 is a clear non-alcoholic spirit, distilled from Silk Road’s botanicals: Star Anise, Ginger, Camomile, Long Pepper, Turmeric, Barberry and Rosemary. First I tried it neat: It smells very strong & herby. Then the taste —> It´s very mellow but has a strong, lingering aftertaste of mainly star anise. It has quite an acquired taste.
Then my non-alcoholic cocktail of today, the ´Cranberry Star´…⭐️
Recipe:
- You start by putting lots of ice cubes in a shaker.
- Then you add 1,5 shot of Xachoh, 1/2 shot of Crushed Lime and Mint cordial (you can obvs make it fresh, I used the one from Robinson – See picture below), 100ml of cranberry juice plus a splash of soda water.
- You then simply shake it and pour the end result into your favourite glass😋 Result —> A foamy, fresh & fabulous pink drink, cheeers!!🥂
