Tips before joining

Ok, this was them! Here are some tips before picking a community to join:

  1. If you decide to join a community, make sure to check out the TIMES of the meetings. As they take place all over the world, it’s important to pick one that works with the time zone you’re in.
  2. In all of these groups, you are welcome to leave your camera off while participating in online meetings if that makes you more comfortable.
  3. Some groups are for both women & men, and some are open to women only. Just check by clicking on the link if you prefer either.
  4. A few of these online groups also have local in-person meet-ups. Just check their accounts to see what’s happening and when!

I hope that this overview of Sober Communities will be of help to you. I firmly believe in connection being THE KEY to being successfully & happily sober, and joining one (or more!) of these communities could be a great start!

Let me know if you’re already a member of any of these sober communities and what you think. You can leave any comments below or contact me HERE 😉
