That´s what I´m offering…! Since 2021 I have been organizing fun Sober Retreats in sunny Spain, and for 2025, I have a BRAND NEW retreat organized for you:

The Venue

The venue for this retreat is a beautiful 8-bedroom Spanish Villa, ríght on the beach! The house has its own private pool at the back, and a big garden with a porch and a gate that opens up straight onto the beach in the front. It is a wild, unspoiled spot in one of the quieter parts of this area. The villa is located on the outskirts of a small but lively Spanish town, Rincón de la Victoria, which has all the amenities you could possibly need. You can walk straight from the villa to the center of town along the beach if you like to explore the area.

Sober Beach Retreat

The retreat takes place over 3 days/nights, filled with bliss… Delicious, freshly prepared (mainly) vegetarian food, journaling in the beautiful garden, and chatting about all things alcohol-free with the other retreaters. A trip into Malaga city, where you can stroll through the cobbled streets filled with little shops and restaurants. There will be lounging at the pool with a book & alcohol-free cocktails, a Guided Sound Meditation, daily Yoga sessions, a Padel tennis class and lots more…

The closest airport is Malaga Airport, from where it’s only a short 25-minute drive with a taxi or Uber to the house.

I promise you’ll feel fully recharged at the end of this trip! Disconnected from day-to-day life and feeling relaxed and inspired. And you might have arrived alone, but you will leave with sober buddies for life!

Itinerary

This is the itinerary from 2024. The one for 2025 will be similar. As soon as it is finalized I will post it here. As you can see, there is plenty of space to have some well-deserved me-time to relax at the pool, go for a beach walk, or grab a Paddleboard and go for a surf. Nothing on the itinerary is compulsory. This is YOUR holiday, your time, your choice! Take this time as an opportunity to reflect on where you are in life and where you would like to head, and return home with a clear mind and full of energy.

Check-in and check-out time:

The retreat, taking place from June 7 to 10, 2025, has a check-in time of 4pm and a check-out time of 12pm.

NOTES:

• Sober (curious) 18+ women only – No alcohol or drugs allowed on the premises; these retreats are drugs & alcohol-free! You don´t have to be sober for any specific amount of time, HOWEVER, you have to be sober on arrival. This is not a detox trip for drinkers/users
• This retreat might not be suitable if you are still depending on alcohol. If you are worried about your drinking, you should probably contact a doctor; never suddenly stop. Your doctor will determine whether you need to detox under supervision
• There will be a WhatsApp Group set up before the retreats start so everyone can get to know each other a little bit beforehand (optional)
• The Sound Bath & Yoga sessions will be conducted in English / The Padel class in Spanglish

Deposit & Cancellation Policy

• A €350 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to reserve your spot in the 2025 Sobertopia Beach Retreat. This deposit NOT refundable, so make sure you’re ready to make this commitment and/or take out travel insurance. The final payment is not due until 6 weeks before the start of the retreat
• In the doubtful case that a retreat will be canceled by Sobertopia due to force majeure, including natural disasters, pandemics, war or other unusual or unforeseen circumstances outside our control, you will receive a full refund, including your deposit
• We will not be held responsible for refunding airline tickets, ticket change fees, or other travel expenses. Therefore, we strongly urge that you take out travel insurance to protect yourself
• Up to 30 days before the retreats start, retreat payments may be transferred to another person without penalty
• If payment of either the deposit or the balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit

2. You’ll then receive a confirmation email with payment details. You must pay a €350 non-refundable deposit to secure your booking
3. Book your flights, and you´re all set!

PS: This retreat can be perfectly combined with a OVERNIGHT CITY TRIP into Malaga. Malaga is a beautiful city, with cultural highlights like the Picasso Museum (Pablo was born there), lots of tapas bars, typical Spanish shops, and an impressive harbor.
