A brand new concept here in Southern Spain! Wouldn’t it be wonderful to meet other sober peeps, in real life? To connect with each other, while at the same time njoying some me-time away from home? To rejuvenate, to get inspired & to simply have fun?

In 2023 I´m organising 2 Sober Retreats and this is one of them, the blissful, booze-free Sober Bliss & Connect Retreat (3 nights):

Location: Arcos de la Frontera, Spain

On this Sober Bliss and Connect retreat you will be staying in a charming, typical Spanish Cortijo which used to be a hotel and has now been converted into a country house: Cortijo Escondido!

The retreat takes place over 3 days/nights. Days that are filled with delicious seasonal, fresh food, sunshine, journaling in beautiful, private spots and chatting about sobriety with other retreaters. There will be lounging at the pool with a book/ alcohol-free cocktail, a guided trip to the STUNNING village of Arcos de la Frontera, a Guided Meditation incl Qigong Breathwork & Reiju Empowerments, a Paddle Surf session in Lago de Arcos, relaxing Yoga sessions and lots more…

You arrive on Friday 9th June late afternoon (check-in starts at 6 pm) and will be enjoying the Cortijo until Monday 12th June when there is a 4 pm check-out.

I promise you, at the end of this trip, you’ll be fully recharged! You will have disconnected from day-to-day life (as soon as you arrive at the Cortijo, you’ll start to feel free as a bird), and feel as relaxed as if you´ve been away for 3 weeks instead of 3 days!

The Accommodation In Short

• Cortijo Escondido (which literally means the ´hidden farmhouse´) is located on a hill with 30.000 m2 of olive trees and has GORGEOUS views all the way to the beautiful white village of Arcos de la Frontera (which is only 7km away)
• There are 6 apartment-style bedrooms, all with air conditioning, ensuite bathrooms and a private terrace (3 of them with open views), and 3 further rooms situated in the Main House
• Football pitch and basketball hoop (just saying 😉 )
• Andalusian patio with fountain and orange trees
• Large 12 * 6 meter pool, sun loungers and straw umbrellas
• Pool bar with bar and fridge.

Itinerary Sober Bliss Retreat 2023

There is plenty of space in the itinerary to have some well-deserved me-time to relax at the pool, read a book, write in your journal, book a massage or take a swim. Besides that, nothing on the itinerary is compulsory. This is YOUR holiday, your time, your choice! Take this time away as an opportunity to reflect on where you are in life and where you would like to head and return home with a clear mind and full of energy. I truly believe that by stepping away from your day-to-day life, you can have a clear view of everything that is going on in your life. Which in turn can be used to start creating (or adapting!) your path to personal growth and a happier life…!

NOTES:

• Sober (curious) 18+ women only – No alcohol allowed on the premises, this is an alcohol-free retreat! You don´t have to be sober for any specific amount of time HOWEVER you have to be sober or sober-curious. This Sober Bliss and Connect retreat is not a detox trip for drinkers
• This retreat might not be suitable if you are still depending on alcohol. If you are worried about your drinking, you should probably contact a doctor; never suddenly stop. Your doctor will determine whether you need to detox under supervision or if this won´t be necessary
• I will set up a WhatsApp Group before the retreat commences so everyone can get to know each other a little bit beforehand (optional)
• The Guided meditation & Yoga sessions will be conducted in English

Sleeping Arrangements 

In Cortijo Escondido there are 6 apartment-style bedrooms available, all with air conditioning, ensuite bathrooms and a private terrace (3 of them with beautiful, open views). Deposit & Cancellation Policy

• A €200 (£175) NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to hold your space in this Sober Bliss and Connect Retreat at Cortijo Escondido. The final payment is due six weeks before the start date of the retreat (which is 28th April 2023)
• In the highly unlikely case that the retreat will be cancelled by Sober Fun in the Sun due to force majeure, including natural disasters, pandemic, travel bans, war, civil unrest or other unusual or unforeseen circumstances outside our control, you will receive a full refund including your deposit
• We will not be held responsible for any refund of airline tickets, ticket change fees or other travel expenses. Therefore I strongly urge that you purchase travel insurance to protect your investment.
• Up to 30 days before the retreat starts, retreat deposits/payments may be transferred to another person without penalty.
• If payment of either the deposit or the balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.

Airport Transfer

A complimentary group transfer to and from Sevilla Airport at a designated travel time is included in the retreat price. Specific transfer details will be provided upon enquiry.

HOW TO BOOK THE SOBER BLISS AND CONNECT RETREAT?

Simply follow these 3 steps:

1. Email me at isabel@mybubblypop.com to let me know the room type you’d like to book plus your contact details 
2. You’ll receive a confirmation email with payment details. A €200 (£175) non-refundable deposit is to be paid to secure your booking and the balance is due no later than six weeks before the start date of the retreat (28th April 2023). These payments can be made (by Bank Transfer) to Revolut
3. Book your flights and you´re all set!
