What’s the vibe of the community?
Warm, judgment-free, and real. We support each other through the ups and downs of alcohol-free living with honesty, humor, and heart. No toxic positivity or pressure to be perfect, just genuine connection with women who understand.
How involved is the founder in the community?
Very involved! Isabel is active daily, leading the monthly Sobertopia Sessions, replying to posts, and making sure the space feels welcoming and supportive. She also attends in-person gatherings whenever possible. You’re not joining a faceless membership; you’re joining a community we’re building together.
When and where do the in-person meetups happen?
We host three in-person events each month in the San Francisco Bay Area. Usually on the 1st Saturday, 2nd Sunday, and 3rd Friday. Locations vary between cozy cafés, parks, and local venues. Event details are shared early inside the community so you can plan ahead.
Will events expand beyond the Bay Area?
Yes! Right now our events are local to the Bay Area, but as the community grows, we plan to bring Sobertopia experiences to new locations.
Is this membership only for women?
Yes. Sobertopia HQ is a women-only space because we believe in the power of women connecting openly and honestly. It’s a safe container to be real, vulnerable, and human — without filters or judgment.
